Entry-Level | Basic WordPress / Shopify Experience Required

We are actively seeking a detail-oriented WordPress / Shopify Content Uploader to join our remote team. If you have basic hands-on experience with WordPress and/or Shopify, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow content briefs accurately, this role is for you. Full training on our internal workflows will be provided, but a foundational understanding of CMS platforms is essential.

Job Overview

As a WordPress / Shopify Content Uploader, you will play an important role in supporting our SEO and content teams by accurately uploading, formatting, and publishing prepared content across client websites. You will work with supplied copy, content briefs, and publishing instructions to ensure each page, blog post, product page, or landing page is presented clearly, consistently, and professionally. This role requires accuracy, reliability, good communication, and the ability to manage multiple upload tasks across different client websites.

Key Responsibilities

Content Uploading & Publishing

• Content Upload Management: Upload provided content to WordPress and Shopify websites, including blog posts, product pages, landing pages, service pages, and general web copy. Ensure all content is placed in the correct page templates, sections, and website areas according to the task brief.
• Page Formatting & Structure: Format content using correct headings, paragraph spacing, bullet points, bold text, images, buttons, and internal links where required. Ensure each uploaded page is easy to read and visually consistent with the website’s existing style.
•     Publishing Support: Prepare pages and posts for review or publishing, following the required workflow for each client website. Make sure URLs, titles, categories, tags, and basic page settings are completed correctly when instructed.

Quality Control & Website Accuracy

• Content Accuracy Checks: Review uploaded content carefully to ensure there are no missing sections, formatting issues, broken links, incorrect headings, or copy-paste errors. Compare the final uploaded version against the supplied document or brief before marking the task as complete.
•     Desktop & Mobile Review: Check every uploaded page on desktop and mobile to make sure the layout looks clean, readable, and functional across devices.

CMS Content Maintenance

• Basic Website Updates: Assist with simple content-related updates in WordPress and Shopify, such as replacing images, updating page text, adding internal links, editing product information, or making small layout adjustments under guidance.
• Workflow Management: Manage multiple upload tasks across different client websites, keeping track of task status, deadlines, and pending items in the project management system.
•     Team Communication: Work closely with SEO Analysts, content writers, designers, and developers to make sure uploaded content is accurate and aligned with the instructions provided. 

Professional Skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in every task.
• Basic hands-on experience with WordPress and/or Shopify CMS.
• Good written English for reading briefs, following instructions, and communicating with the team.
• Ability to follow structured processes.
•     Strong organisation and time management skills for handling multiple client websites.

NOTE:

Kindly refrain from applying if you have no prior hands-on experience or basic knowledge of WordPress or Shopify. You do not need to be advanced, but a foundational understanding of how CMS platforms work is essential. Applications without this experience will not be considered.
